Sabina Paleczna

Ph.D. candidate at the University of Silesia, researching childhood neglect and its impact on adolescents’ well-being through participatory studies. She holds an M.A. in Political Science. Her interests include psychosocial and cultural determinants of neglect, and the possibilities for early diagnosis and support, impact of violence on young people’s development and the social contexts of education. She also teaches French and advertising technology at a technical secondary school.

Dr. hab. Elżbieta Perzycka-Borowska, Prof. USz: researcher, regional coordinator and academic mentor for early-career researchers

Expert in media education, digital communication, visual education, and the educational applications of artificial intelligence. Her research focuses on children’s digital safety, sharenting, inherited digital traces, and teachers’ digital competences. She combines pedagogical theory, media studies, and creative research methods to explore how digital technologies shape learning, visibility, and responsibility in online environments. Assistant Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, University of Szczecin, Poland, as well as a school pedagogue and special educator. Her research focuses on children’s online safety, digital well-being, cyberbullying prevention, digital parenting, and the educational and psychological dimensions of digital technologies. She combines academic research with educational practice by designing and implementing prevention and intervention programmes for children, parents, teachers, and schools. Dr. Lidia Marek: researcher and educator

Assistant Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, University of Szczecin. Her research focuses on the pedagogical and educational dimensions of responsibility, cultural education, and the application of autoethnography in educational research. She is also interested in the psychological mechanisms underlying attitude formation, child and adolescent well-being, digital parenting, and the impact of digital technologies on children’s development and well-being. She combines academic research with teaching, community engagement, and cultural initiatives by conducting research projects and developing educational activities. Her work adopts an interdisciplinary perspective, integrating pedagogy and psychology to promote informed parenting practices and to foster safe environments that support the well-being of children and young people.

 

 

 

 

Marcella Abudho: Doctoral researcher, management scholar, and educational practitioner.

Doctoral candidate in Management and Quality Sciences at the University of Szczecin, Poland, and assistant lecturer at Pwani University, Kenya, with fifteen years of experience in higher education. Her research focuses on the intersection of organizational development and the technological paradigms of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, including technology strategy, AI simplification, knowledge transfer, and university-industry collaboration. Beyond her management research, she is a dedicated educator who combines academic rigor with a practice-oriented approach to digital citizenship, and the societal implications of commercial sharenting. Oliwia Bator: Doctoral researcher in Linguistics

PhD student at the Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin, Poland. Her research focuses on pragmalinguistics, phraseology, Polish-Russian comparative linguistics, Slavic languages, media discourse, and intercultural communication. She explores the role of language in contemporary communication, with particular interest in speech acts, phraseological units, and the linguistic dimensions of digital media and intercultural interactions. As a doctoral researcher, she actively participates in international research projects, scientific conferences, and academic mobility programmes. Her work combines linguistic research with interdisciplinary perspectives on media, communication, and contemporary social challenges, particularly in the context of digital communication and intercultural dialogue.
