We are proud to announce that the GUARDIAN project has received the honorary patronage of the Polish Embassy in Nairobi!
On 19 February 2025, representatives of the GUARDIAN project were welcomed at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi for an official meeting dedicated to strengthening academic and cultural cooperation. The delegation was received by Ms Małgorzata Sprawka, Political Counsellor, and Mr Paweł Pijanowski, Second Secretary of the Political-Economic, Consular, and Polish Diaspora Department. This meeting marks an important step in fostering international partnerships and promoting collaborative research initiatives supported by the University of Silesia.
During the meeting, Dr. Anna Brosch presented the project’s objectives, implementation strategies, and its consortium. The discussion focused on opportunities for collaboration in educational activities and dissemination events to be organized in Kenya.
A key outcome of the meeting was the Embassy’s decision to grant honorary patronage to the GUARDIAN project, reinforcing its role as a partner in promoting educational and cultural activities.
This recognition is a great honor and a testament to the importance of our mission and international collaboration. The support of the Embassy strengthens our visibility and highlights the value of building bridges between the EU and Kenya in the field of research and education.
Together, we’re making a difference!
